How do I get around Bali?
You can travel around Bali by local bus, shuttle buses or taxis. If you hire a motorbike you do have to take precautions. Check that your travel insurance covers motorbike hire in Bali. Make sure you wear a helmet. When you hire a motorbike we recommend that you take photos of any dents or scratches before you leave the hirer’s shop.
Do I tip in Bali?
There is a 10% government tax so you may find that upmarket restaurants add a tax of anywhere between 10 – 20% to cover the government tax. For smaller establishments, if the service and food is good you could add a 10% tip.

If you have an unlocked phone you can buy a SIM card at the airport or most places on the island.
