I’m yet to visit Bali, but it’s been on my list for a long time now. Your post provides a lot of useful information about Bali and reading how much there is to do there I feel it would make a perfect New Year’s Eve destination. I can’t think of a better way to spend the first day of the year than relaxing in one of those spas.

You have convinced me~ Bali is added to my New Year travel list! From your description, I think I would love the beauty of Bali, the Balinese massage, and a chocolate fondue massage. I love great food, but eating in a forest seems like a great idea! With so much to offer, I cannot wait to add Bali to my 2020 travel plans.

Bali has been on my list for a very long time and nearly went there this year, however can Bali be visited all year round. Would you say it’s better around the New Year period..is that because its hotter then or its not the raining season. Not sure when the best time of year to go is as I never been to that region.
Hi Danik
Thanks for your comments. June July and August are popular times to visit Bali but it is very busy with tourists and it is the dry season. We have visited New Year and it was perfect weather for us, we have also visited in April and June. New Year is still preferable.
Cheers Jane and Duncan

You’ve convinced me…Bali is for me! But I can’t believe there are over 13,000 accommodation options. (Say what?!) Thank you for sharing your recommendations because I don’t know how I’d narrow down the choices. I’d be happy to relax poolside at Mano Beach House and also experience a romantic dinner at Kamandalu’s Tree Deck. Both look superb! I also appreciate the quick reference Q&A at the end. Very helpful information!
Hi Jackie

Bali in Indonesia which is the land of 1000 temples, would be everyone’s favourite and perfect for New Year travels. The romantic dinner in Ubud at the Tree Deck by candlelight had won me over for this place. The view of rice terrace fields from the tree deck must be the most beautiful one. Enrolling for authentic local cuisine cooking class would be my choice too to know the gastronomic culture of this place.
