Hotel Review Saii Laguna Phuket 2024

On my recent visit to Phuket and Khao Lak in Thailand I spent some time visiting Saii Laguna Phuket.  Friends who had stayed there loved its family-friendly vibe and how perfect it was for a couples’ getaway.

So what was it that had my friends so excited about the stunning beach resort in the Laguna complex of 5-star hotels 25 minutes from Phuket Airport?

This is my Saii Laguna Phuket review.

First Impressions of Saii Laguna

There is always that special feeling when you first arrive at a hotel and you receive a cool refreshing drink and a cold towel beautifully presented in a way that only Thai hospitality can!

The colourful reception area seemed to go on forever.   You just don’t know where to look first. The walls are adorned with prints framed in bright yellow and red matching the colourful cushions placed on the sofas underneath.  When I looked upwards the many shapes and styles of lighting enhanced the teak furniture and flower arrangements below. The large pool feature at the end of the reception evokes a feeling of calmness and relaxation before you even venture further into the resort with its 3 swimming pools for guests to enjoy.

As you wander to your accommodation there are stunning views on either side of you towards the lake and the sparkling Andaman Sea.

Final Thoughts on Saii Laguna

Saii Laguna Phuket lives up to the comments from friends and family and much much more.  I really loved the calm vibe and the layout of the resort.  The rooms were large and the added bonus of the oversized daybed was such a welcome addition to the room.

If you travel with children it would be hard to get them away from the Kids Club.  I will certainly return, Saii Laguna ticked all of my boxes.
