House Sitting Assignment

House sitting Assignment Australia, Sydney, Beacon Hill

Location: Beacon Hill, Sydney, Australia

Profile: Couple Semi Retired Professionals

Pets:
Two lovely Pomeranian dogs, Sassy and Ziggy

Property Type: The house was a duplex villa two levels, immaculately maintained with a front lawn and back paved enclosed garden.

Brief: The couple were about to embark on a journey to Europe and this would involve them being away for over a month whilst  enjoying touring and cruising around Europe.
Special Needs: the focus was clearly on the two dogs, truly loved by their owners and this was the first time that they would have been left for a significant amount of time. They had immaculate conditions, and a strict walking, food and nutrition regime. There was only the need to maintain the property and ensure it was safe and clean on return.

Duration: 19th June 2014 to 20th July 2014 Total of 31 Days.

Booking Engine: Mindahome

Contact: Skype, Email, Phone. Initial contact was via Mindahome and then email, phone contact was made and whilst on their journey we held Skype calls whilst the couple were away.

Our Experiences: This was one of the first House Sitting assignments that we managed to obtain whilst we were overseas in Thailand. We were shortlisted and we met the couple a number of times so that they could be assured that they were comfortable with us. We met initially at a shopping mall in Sydney and later at their home to relate to the dogs. This was a very useful process for all parties and one we would suggest for those starting out.

Review: Yes we were reviewed by the client and we are happy to share their comments.
