Best Time To Visit the Hunter Valley
Spring (September, October, November) – see the new green shoots on the vines. The country gardens are in bloom.
Summer (December, January and February) – the vines are heavy with grapes. January is harvest time in the Hunter.
Autumn (March, April, May) – the winemakers are blending their wines.
Winter (June, July, August) – the vines are barren, it is a good time for tasting reds and enjoying hearty meals beside an open fire.
