Did I mention that the Radisson Blu Hotel in Galle is absolutely beachfront? Additionally, it is just 3 km from the historic Galle Fort and 5 km from the historic Dutch Galle Church.

Our check-in at the Radisson Blu Hotel Galle was effortless. What a lovely, warm welcome when we arrived at Reception! Check-in took just a few minutes; the whole time, we were gazing at the view. We could not wait to explore once we settled into our room.
Check in from 1400 hours and check out from 1200 hours!
Our Room at the Radisson Blu Hotel Galle
There are 172 well-appointed luxury rooms and suites, all of which offer sea-facing views and feature private balconies. Our room was bright and cheerful with plenty of space for our luggage. We had a deluxe sea-view room that measured 39 m², which included a lounge and a desk to catch up on emails and work. The room was a good size, and we didn’t feel crowded. It was lovely waking up to the view each morning during our stay. The bathroom was a good size and we had a good range of Radisson’s own brand of toiletries.
Dining Areas at the Radisson Blu Hotel Galle
As we had arrived late afternoon, we dropped our bags in our room and headed up to Bommu for cocktail hour. The views are magnificent from up here. The drinks menu offered a vast array of choices, making it challenging to decide what to order.
We chose Fusion for dinner, which is an all-day dining restaurant offering a substantial breakfast buffet in the morning, as well as buffet and à la carte options for lunch and dinner.
The Bay Poolside Bar offered a la carte meals and cocktails from 11 am to 7 pm.
Fancy a pizza? Head to Sforno Poolside Trattoria, which offers mouth-watering pizzas and pastas. We dined alfresco here the 2nd night and loved every minute.
What is there to do at the Radisson Blu Hotel Galle?
If you plan to spend the morning at the pool, get there early and snag one of the private cabanas. Take a walk along the beach or enjoy a workout in their Fitness centre.
Something less strenuous? Book a sunrise or sunset yoga experience, or enjoy the facilities at the Spa. Our spa treatment was heaven; we wished we had another day to spend here to experience it again.
